So I just read this post about suicide and I kind of got some mixed messages//feelings from it. People like to look at suicide victims as though they had no other way out, like they are doing so much worse than anybody else in this world that killing themselves is alright. Look, Im in the military…active duty, coming up on 3 years. A lot of people fail to fathom the stress and hardships that me and my brothers and sisters in arms deal with daily. Rather its working long hours with minimum rest, spending those long hours away from the ones we love, sometimes going years without seeing family (As I am). My point is as much as you would like to think that your life is soooo much worse off than anybody else, you’ll always be wrong. There is no situation so bad that you should consider taking your own life point blank. I wouldn’t say its lazy, but im sure if you sought out any means of help possible, you wouldn’t get to that point. If its ANYTHING…Id describe it as selfish..Yes…SELFISH. People fail to realize how many lives they influence on a daily basis. Rather family, friends, co-workers, I guarantee by resorting to suicide, you’ll make someone’s life just as worse off as yours was. A problem that you could of probably solved simply by speaking to someone. Trust me, I understand the seriousness of suicide, Military folks deal with it more than any group of individuals I’ve ever came across, but it should never be a solution…it could never be a solution..your problem isn’t solved, you’re just giving more grief to others….If you disagree, than that is unfortunate…God Bless..
When you can lay down in your bed….ass naked…without worrying about getting called into work….Most don’t think much of it…But this military life kills me sometime -___- lol. Still Breathing though right? XDD
